Both men and women are the constituents of the human society on an equal footing. The vehicle of life is running only on their two wheels. For the prosperity of individual life and collective life and for the success of both the herein as well as of the hereafter, the education and a proper upbringing of the individuals is quite unavoidable. It is neither to be ignored nor to be deferred. Education and a better upbringing is as much important for women as far men.

Therefore Hafsa Girls college is established to meet the needs of this field by the hands of Maulana Syed Salman Husaini Nadwi and is engaged in adorning the female wing of the Muslim society with Islamic sciences and culture. The foundation stone was laid by the hands of the Late Maulana Syed Abul Hasan Ali Al-Hasani Al-Nadvi. By the grace of Allah the college is going on, in a well-maintained way from its opening day to this day. It is hoped that it would meet a great need of Muslim society.

  • To make the college a better seat of Islamic learning for the girl students in this region.

Courses of the college

  • Primary and secondary combined stage; maximum duration of which is five years. In this duration the students are given instructions in fundamentals of the Islamic faith, basic grammar of the Arabic language and other religious subjects, simultaneously, the modern secular subjects are the important constituent of the syllabus pursued at the stage.

To cut the long story short, the educational programme of the college is indeed a rare composite of Islamic as well as modern learning. By its nature, such a comprehensive programme is rightly expected to make a Muslim woman lead a purposeful Islamic-oriented life, meeting successfully the modern challenges of life.
